What You’ll Do:
As the Supported Employment Team Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind a life-changing program that helps individuals with severe and persistent mental illness find meaningful, competitive employment. You won’t just manage a team—you’ll inspire, coach, and grow them, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to empower clients on their employment journey.
Your days will be dynamic and deeply rewarding. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in the community—at their homes, potential workplaces, and job sites—guiding them through every step of the employment process. From identifying interests and skills to landing the right job and providing follow-along support, you’ll be there, making a lasting impact.
You’ll also play a key strategic role by:
  • Leading weekly team supervision to ensure best practices and adherence to the IPS Supported Employment Fidelity Model.
  • Supporting your team in the field through regular ride-alongs, real-time feedback, and modeling of effective job coaching techniques.
  • Building strong, professional relationships with local employers and community partners to create new opportunities and expand job placement networks.
  • Coordinating referrals, tracking staff availability, and approving clinical documentation to keep the program running smoothly.
  • Collaborating with clinicians, case managers, and treatment teams to support clients’ employment goals with a holistic, recovery-oriented approach.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (1 year of human services work = 1 year of education).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with individuals experiencing severe mental illness.
  • Must pass background checks (KBI, DCF, Adult Abuse Registry, motor vehicle).
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
  • Ability to transport clients as needed.
