Whitney is a partner at the Certified Public Accounting firm Brungardt Hower Ward Elliot & Pfeifer, LC. He practices in the firm's Hays office, where he specializes in providing tax planning, preparation and compliance for individuals, businesses, and trusts. Whitney is also credentialed in business valuation as a Certified Valuation Analyst. His areas of industry practice include agribusiness, oil and gas, not-for-profit organizations, and estate and gift taxation.
Brown is a 2003 graduate of Fort Hays State University and is originally from Hoxie, Kansas. Whitney is a member of the Hays First United Methodist Church and the Hays Sunrise Rotary Club. He currently serves as an Ambassador for the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce and is a past member of the Hays Area Young Professionals group. He also coaches youth sports for the Hays Recreation Commission. He and his wife, Meghan, have three children.
